|At the Künstlerhaus Lukas, our scholarship programme covers five different types of grant for applicants:
One-month ►Residency grants at the Künstlerhaus Lukas help applicants develop and realize their own artistic projects in the fields of the visual arts, literature, composition and dance performance.
One-month ►Exchange scholarships with selected partner institutions across Northern Europe help applicants develop their own artistic projects and promote intercultural exchange, with the option of applying special working methods.
The two-month ►Environmental exchange scholarship with the municipality of Vardř in Norway looks to strengthen and promote the connection of art and nature/sustainabilty between Norway and Germany.
The one- and two-month ►Grants for curators help applicants develop and realize their outstanding proposals for the presentation of contemporary art at the Neues Kunsthaus in Ahrenshoop, incorporating the works of previous scholarship-holders at the Künstlerhaus Lukas.
Two-week ►Workshop grants promote cooperation among artist groups and assist the groups with presenting their results at the Ahrenshoop Lange Nacht der Kunst.
Please note that past scholarship recipients are not permitted to apply again until at least five years have passed since their residency at the Künstlerhaus Lukas or our partner institutions. This rule does not apply to curator or workshop grants, for which applications can be submitted every two years.
In addition, it is possible to annually use an ►Application via partner institutions for scholarships that are part of the Künstlerhaus Lukas program, since separate funding guidelines apply.
