The Artistic Guest Room Hollufgård was founded for the cultural region “Fünen” and for the city of Odense in 1982. It is the biggest center for sculpturing and drawing in the area of Nordic countries. The Artistic Guest Room Hollufgård invites Danish and international artists to focus on their work – from the idea to the implementation. Focused on an international exchange the Artistic Guest Room Hollufgård organizes symposia and exhibitions for their members. They have five workshop areas for model making, bronze casting, stone work, painting and other mixing techniques, which are sometimes difficult to make in little ateliers.
The studios, guest rooms and the administration are located in beautiful scenery, which is also characterized by a rich cultural history. Sculptures, which are made by Danish and international artist at the workshops in the house, are exhibited in the nearby park.

   Opportunities for Collaboration

The Künstlerhaus Lukas and the Artistic Guest Room Hollufgård started their exchange und their cooperation in 2016. The Artistic Guest Room Hollufgård offers excellent working conditions. Odense with its museums of Jütland’s history and exhibitions of contemporary art is located nearby. These institutions enable an insight into the historically grown and current art scene.
The Scholarship is aimed primarily at visual artists.
